Founded in 2008 by Tammy Hall, Champlain Valley Canine Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of animals in need.
Throughout the year, we rescue dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. Some come directly from high-kill shelters, while others are saved by our rescue partners, who pull animals from shelters and foster them until they can join us in the north. Locally, we work to rehome pets whose owners can no longer care for them.
As a completely volunteer-based organization, we are deeply grateful for our dedicated foster families, as well as the volunteers who assist with transportation, grooming, and countless other tasks that make our work possible.
